There are over 200 books currently in our club Library - which is too many to be browsed conveniently if you are looking for books on a particular aspect of gardening.
We have chosen to 'Group' books which deal with similar aspects of Gardening as follows:
GENERAL GARDENING - includes books that deal with the general techniques of Gardening and Plant Management
PLANTS & FLOWERS - includes books that describe the various TYPES of PLANTS and many of these books deal with specific gardening techniques that apply mainly to these plant types.
SPECIFIC FLOWERS & PLANTS - is similar to the previous group - but includes those books that relate to a SINGLE NAMED plant or flower
EDIBLE PRODUCE PLANTS & COOKING - is also similar - but includes those books that relate to plants that are grown for EATING and also some books that deal with PRESERVING or COOKING garden produce.
LANDSCAPING, CONTAINERS & GREENHOUSES - includes books that relate to the DESIGN and LAYOUT of gardens and also books that relate to garden FEATURES and CONSTRUCTION
WILDLIFE & ENVIRONMENT - includes books that relate to WILDLIFE visitors to the garden and also books relating to aspects of keeping the plants, wildlife and ourselves HEALTHY
MISCELLANEOUS - includes those books and other Library materials that DO NOT FIT easily into any of the above groups and information on other media such as CD's and DVD's
SAME SERIES or PUBLISHER - includes those books that are in a gardening SERIES or by the same AUTHOR or PUBLISHER
And we have subdivided each Group into various 'Topics' which contain a list of the books that relate to that Topic and which can be browsed on-line
Note: Some books deal with several different Gardening aspects - whereas others deal primarily with just one aspect or type of plant - So we have chosen to list some books in more than one Group and Topic
Brief details and pictures of their covers of the books in each of these 'Topics' have been inserted on this website and can be seen by 'clicking' on the above menu choice of 'Group & Topics list'
